SEPTEMBER PRAYER EMPHASIS: EDUCATION
“Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchman; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7

The Watchman Prayer Ministry is a lay ministry of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Based on the need for revival and spiritual awakening, this ministry unites participants in the ministry of intercessory prayer.
A Watchman is a prayer warrior answering God’s call to commit to pray for our Jerusalem, Sugar Creek Baptist Church. You pray for a designated hour each week and then call the Watchman after you to pass along the watch so there will not be any gaps in the Wall.
You can be a vital part of the work of the Spirit taking place within and going forth from Sugar Creek by praying and being a Watchman. The Watchman Prayer Ministry was birthed in this church so that we would be a people that stand watch with Jesus Christ. Watchman commit one critical hour per week...the most important hour of the week to join with Jesus Christ and pray for our community, and the mission, ministries, and people of the church.
To become a Watchman:
If you are unable to access the internet to view prayer requests, there will be printed copies available in the wall racks throughout the campus.
