Excitement, snow balls, and the sounds of children laughing filled the air on Snow Day!  Over 1400 children enjoyed this fun day at Sugar Creek on January 10.  Children traveled with their Bible fellowship classes to one of four snow areas, where they had the rare opportunity to play in Sugar Land snow.

Mission trip to Turkey

Recently, a small group of our men journeyed to eastern Turkey to minister to the Kurdish people. Their objective was to find Kurdish men of peace (Luke 10) who would befriend us. Then, we would give them the New Testament in Turkish and DVDs portraying Jesus’ Life. We call these gifts Pisidian packages.

The 2009 Annual Chili Cookoff was held October 18 and featured recipes made by Adult Bible Fellowship classes. Over 12 ABF Classes brought their chili to be judged.

 

Peer Mentoring at Sugar Creek

Without any strong structure and relying on God to do His work in His time, life on life investments are taking place all across the campus and into the community. Those who have taken part in the movement have seen first-hand how mentoring can build relational intimacy and accountability that has not been found elsewhere.

Urban Camp Recap

UC2009 was an overwhelming success! 65 young people made first time decisions to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and 100’s others recommitted to live their lives in a manner  that would point others toward HIM. We all walked away from UC challenged to "IDENTIFY"  with 2nd Corinthians 5:17.
